"Onomichi Ramen Maruboshi" How to make a replica of Onomichi Ramen
Introduction
When it comes to Ramen shops in Onomichi that have long lines, it's Onomichi Ramen Maruboshi. This time, we'll be introducing Onomichi Ramen! The soup, made with Dried sardine stock from small dried fish, is known for its refined Umami and the deep, delicious taste of the sea bream base, so much so that it's touted as something you can drink down to the last drop. To ensure you can enjoy the piping hot soup until the very end, a generous layer of oil is placed on the surface of the soup, which can be surprisingly hot, so be careful. Another highlight of this restaurant is the minced back fat, which adds a large, crunchy texture to the bowl, and although it may be a local delicacy, this is Onomichi Ramen you can only get here.
This is a recipe that uses commercial Ramen soup to easily recreate the taste of Onomichi Ramen, which is similar to Onomichi Ramen Maruboshi.
