History and origins

Founded in 2007, "Chipao Malatang" is a malatang specialty restaurant opened by Ishigami in Shibuya. It is said to be the first such restaurant in Japan. Ishigami tried malatang in Singapore in 2003 and was so impressed by its deliciousness that he traveled to China to study malatang, the birthplace of the dish. He has since established over 200 restaurants. He opened the restaurant with the desire to spread this food culture that is not found in Japan.
Based on the concept of "beauty and health, food is medicine," there are over 50 toppings to choose from! You can also choose the spiciness level from 0 to unlimited. The fun of being able to customize your own dish, and the fact that it's delicious and good for your beauty, has captured the hearts of customers, especially female fans.
